Not-so-lonely Calstart EV charging station in Burbank (3601 Empire, the old Lockheed facility) is a great place to charge either EV1 or EV+ Electric Vehicles. Our beautiful EV+ is to the right of a sleek EV1. Unfortunately, there is not much to do in the area while the car is recharging except tour the very strange Cal-Start facility, which launched the "EV Warrior" electric bicycle (now in Chapter 11), and which hosts BAT, the current holder of the electric car distance record with 1043 miles on a single charge.
